Julie Serakos

Julie Serakos currently serves as Head of Model Product Management at RMS. Prior to this role she was an Executive Vice President leading Catastrophe Analytics for BMS Re US.
She has 30 years of industry experience, including roles at Willis Re, where she started the U.S. catastrophe management services division and led the property resource team; The St. Paul Cos., where she oversaw risk analytics supporting underwriting teams and overall portfolio management; and E.W. Blanch Co. where she began her career supporting the development of the first industry cat models: Catalyst, AIR and RMS, while leading the formation of the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology, and piloting the use of models for portfolio optimization, residual market depopulation and ratemaking.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota and a CCRMP designation.
